First, you must qualify for a Carrot Key. There are three keys available to drive a Green Carrot, and the one you get depends upon your experience. Let's face it folks, Green Carrots haven't been around long enough to be domesticated. It takes a special person to tame a Green Carrot–in particular one willing to read and sign our Liability Waiver! Additionally, your experience determines the "level" of Green Carrot you should attempt to ride.

The Black Key is for new riders—people who have never been on a Segway will want the "Segway Experience" ride. By taking the Black Key "Experience" session, you will learn the basic maneuvers that this amazing machine can do. Depending on your aptitude you may receive your license to drive a Segway with a Yellow Key in the future.

Yellow Keys are for intermediate riders. Typically, these are people who have approximately one hour of riding experience. They've master the basic maneuvers of these great machines.

The Red Keys are for advanced riders. To hold a Red Key, a person will have approximately Two hours of riding experience. They've mastered the intermediate maneuvers and have shown their ability to navigate in confined areas and have shown the necessary responsibility.
